FUTURE LANDSCAPES

Six of my iPhone artworks from my “Corridors of Cyberspace” series on wood will be exhibited at the FUTURE LANDSCAPES exhibition in Venice!

The FUTURE LANDSCAPES exhibition is part of the BORDERS FESTIVAL - The International Art and Architecture Festival which runs parallel to the 15th Architecture Biennale. 

I am one of the featured artists, and representing the UAE, I will be at the opening of the exhibition.

 

 Mobile Technology

The festival focuses on the concept of “borders“, between the soul and the body, the man and the city, the city and the ground. The festival analyzes the idea of human and urban borders, how people live them and how they are modified in contemporary society. Every human being lives in a world in which the limits, the borders, shape their attitudes and behaviors, limiting the freedom and creating a sense of alienation. The man reacts breaking the limits and finding a new way of life. We imagine a world of “liquid cities“, where differences create new possibilities and exchange possibilities, instead of being social barriers. - BORDERS | VENICE MAY-NOV 2016 

FUTURE LANDSCAPES – Human creativity always spreads all over the world. For thousands of years we have applied our imagination and inventiveness to shape our landscapes. Cities are leading to a new aesthetic change that aims to rebalance the combination of humans and nature, not only to restore natural systems and ecological integrity but also to deliver beautiful, engaging and remarkable landscape experiences. Today we face many challenges that require a big effort in mixing new frontiers to create new extraordinary places and spaces. The openings of FUTURE LANDSCAPES will be on October 06, 2016 at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi and on October 07, 2016 at Venice Art House Gallery, starting from 06:00 PM (free entry).

Electron Salon

I have been invited to exhibit in Los Angeles! Three of my works will be shown in the Electron Salon at LACDA - Los Angeles Center for Digital Art - from July 14 - August 12, 2016.

LACDA is located in the Gallery Row area of downtown Los Angeles, 104.E 4th St. between Main and Los Angeles Streets. 

Digital art defines the contemporary. The Los Angeles Center For Digital Art is dedicated to the propagation of all forms of digital art, new media, digital video art, net art, digital sculpture, interactive multimedia, and the vast panorama of hybrid forms of art and technology that constitute our moment in culture. We are committed to supporting local, international, emerging and established artists through exposure in our gallery. We have an ongoing schedule of exhibits and competitions, produce editions of wide format archival prints, and collaborate in the production of digital artworks in our studio. Beyond Words

"Beyond Words" is one of my iphoneography artworks on wood that will be shown at "The Eye of the Beholder"

In the visually rich world we live in, the creative mind sees many things, places and images. The artist experiences a feeling in something, a photographer can hear the buzzing of a little bee in the distance, a sculptor sees a beautiful statue amidst the boulders on a mountain.  On the other hand, another person looks at the same thing, but sees something very different.  There is no wrong or right, for each is seen in the eye of the beholder.

Tutte le Strade

I am happy to announce that six of my artworks will be shown in Rome as part of Tutte le Strade from 27 November 2015 to 23 January 2016.

Visual art in the Eternal City of Rome

The collaboration between ARTROM Network and L’UNICO  was born with the idea to offer the public original evenings of quality by creating a synergetic combination of contemporary art at an international level with an innovative culinary environment.

Our objective is to create a union between the two fields of great passion; art and cuisine, emphasizing the creative process of each. These always create a stimulating mix and represent an important interest in the life of each of us.

"All Roads lead to . . . " will be held from November 27 to January 20, and is a new way to spend an evening in the company of music, food, art lovers and friends.

We welcome you on Friday, November 27th. The opening will be held from 17.00 to 19.30. Following from 19.30 to 23.00, by reservation, there will be a dinner in the upper level of L’UNICO for artists and guests, dedicated to those who want to enjoy an entire evening, savoring new tastes in a special artistic environment.

Unfolding

The exhibition will take place from 9-16 September 2015 in the Radisson Royal Hotel in Dubai.
